1. Product Overview:
The Rainwater-Wastewater Separator is a treatment device designed to automatically divert rainwater and sewage. Its structure primarily consists of the main separator body, a drainage actuation unit, a flow diverter, a wastewater outlet, a rainwater outlet, a combined inlet, an access port, a rain gauge sensor, a multifunctional control system, and an optional solar power supply system.
The separator features ingenious and rational design. The entire rainwater-wastewater diversion system is compact, requires minimal space and piping materials, and is simple to install. It operates automatically with integrated system control. For regional rainwater and sewage diversion treatment, it can be installed on-site as a complete, integrated unit. By utilizing rainfall data, rain frequency memory, and optional water quality monitoring for controlled diversion, it can regulate the volume of water collected and diverted in real time based on the environmental water flow quality and usage demand of the catchment area. It can also be integrated with landscape water systems, circulating water treatment systems, and other water replenishment systems, achieving excellent rainwater and wastewater separation.
2. Operating Principle:
During dry weather, wastewater enters the device through the inlet, flows into the diverter within the separation body, and is discharged through the wastewater outlet along with any solid matter.
When it rains, the rain gauge sensor sends a signal to the control system, which activates the electric actuation unit to change the direction of the diverter. This redirects the rainwater to the collection (rainwater) outlet, from where it flows into the rainwater drainage network or a storage tank.
After the rain stops, the sensor sends a signal to the control system. The electric actuation unit is activated again to revert the diverter’s direction, allowing wastewater (including water containing solids) to flow to the wastewater outlet and then into the sewage network. The system resets to its initial state, ready to repeat the process upon the next rainfall.
3. Product Features:
- Utilizes a PLC controller, offering high integration and programmable control, enabling effective rainwater collection and wastewater diversion.
- Supports both manual and automatic operation modes, making it user-friendly, practical, simple, and efficient to operate.
- Optional control based on water quality, water volume, and rain frequency intervals allows for more precise and scientific diversion.
- The device chamber employs a dual-outlet design, preventing the accumulation of initial rainwater, sludge, or impurities, thereby eliminating secondary pollution.
- Can be configured with a solar power supply system for fully automated operation. This configuration is simple to use and more energy-efficient.
