(I) Product Purpose
The Smart Jet Device for rainwater storage tanks is an intelligent flushing equipment specifically designed for such tanks. It utilizes an air-liquid mixture to aerate and stir the sewage containing sediment within the tank. Once the sediment becomes suspended in the water, it is pumped out. After the tank is emptied, the device performs a bottom flush. The Smart Jet Device can automatically perform both surface flushing and targeted spot flushing.
(II) Product Innovations
(1) Compared to traditional jet devices, this newly developed equipment incorporates an airbag. This ensures the water flow remains in a turbulent state during operation, stabilizing device performance and promoting biochemical reactions.
(2) The device’s rotation angle can be customized according to client requirements to ensure normal operation in different environments.
(III) System Composition
The Smart Jet Device system for rainwater storage tanks consists of the Smart Jet Device unit, a level gauge, a high-definition camera, and a control system. The Smart Jet Device unit itself primarily comprises a rotary drive, fixed support base, water pump, rotary joint, water outlet pipe, air-liquid mixing chamber, jet pipe, and air inlet pipe. The device is primarily designed based on the Venturi principle.
(IV) Working Principle
When there is water of a certain depth in the storage tank, the Smart Jet Device, controlled by the system, periodically ejects an air-liquid mixture to aerate the water body in the tank. This helps degrade COD content, effectively minimizing odor generation in the tank.
During drainage by the submersible sewage pump at the tank bottom, when the configured level gauge detects that the water level has reached a preset point, the intelligent control system activates the Smart Jet Device. The jet pipe begins rotating within a 0~260° range while simultaneously performing omnidirectional stirring within the tank, keeping sediment at the bottom in suspension. Concurrently, the submersible pump extracts the sewage in this suspended state, preventing the solids from settling again.
When the tank water is nearly drained, the Smart Jet Device uses water from the tank’s sump to perform a powerful flush of the tank bottom. The resulting wastewater is then discharged from the tank via the submersible pump in the sump.
The high-definition camera configured for the tank automatically captures images of the tank bottom. The intelligent control system intelligently grids the captured images into zones. If it detects inadequately flushed debris in a specific zone, it automatically sends a control signal to direct the Smart Jet Device to perform targeted flushing on that area.
