(I) Product Overview

The Net-Zero Magic Cube refers to a standardized, modular, and integrated device with disconnect functionality, designed using prefabricated components for bioretention facilities. Through multifunctional modules, it enables elevation control, infiltration rate control, and drainage time control, while enhancing filtration and purification, ecological aesthetics, and sedimentation effects. It adapts to various environments to achieve controlled storage and regulation functions. Additionally, based on time-delay regulation technology, it intensively utilizes the space of prefabricated functional modules to store runoff rainwater. After rainfall, it provides uniform flow and slow release, effectively preventing urban flooding by “not competing with pathways during rain and discharging orderly after rain.”

Through delayed filtration and sedimentation purification, it effectively controls runoff pollution and enables automatic pollutant removal. The standardized modules improve construction quality, shorten project timelines, reduce environmental impact, and increase overall benefits. It is a green, environmentally friendly, economical, and low-carbon foundational facility for Sponge City rainwater management.

The equipment features no external power requirement, no water accumulation, no clogging, short construction period, long service life, time-delay regulation, uniform flow and slow release, automatic pollutant discharge, no need for sunken green spaces, low maintenance, plannable rainwater management, and guaranteed quality. It can be widely applied in all aspects of non-point source pollution treatment.

(II) Equipment Configuration

The equipment includes nano carbon-silicon modules, inlet modules (optional), time-delay control modules, energy dissipation modules, slow-release pollution control modules, overflow and infiltration control modules, data acquisition, transmission, and analysis modules, low-energy self-sustaining components, and ecological plant modules.

(III) Working Principle

Roof or surface rainwater is initially intercepted and filtered by the inlet module, then directly disconnected and directed into the energy dissipation facility. The dissipated water is rapidly distributed within the ecological plant system. The rainwater then cascades into the carbon-silicon water storage space via the time-delay control module for storage. During light rain, all rainwater is retained within the low-energy self-sustaining components, which periodically nourish the plants based on monitoring data. During moderate rain, the overflow and infiltration control module is activated, allowing一部分 to infiltrate into the ground and另一部分 to trigger the slow-release pollution control module for orderly discharge. During heavy rain or storms, the overflow module fully opens, diverting excess rainwater to downstream Sponge City facilities.
