Product Overview:​

The Self-Cleaning Horizontal Screen is a fully automated solid interception device designed to effectively capture floating objects and solid particles in rainwater and sewage. Equipped with an automatic cleaning function, it is widely used in urban drainage systems. The screen can be installed in front of overflow weirs, storage tanks, and other relevant locations.

The system consists of the screen body, hydraulic cylinder, hydraulic power unit, ultrasonic level sensor control system, and can optionally be equipped with a high-definition camera for real-time monitoring of screen operation. The screen body includes a frame, screen bars, guide channels, polymer guide blocks, rake teeth, connecting rods, cylinder bracket, hydraulic cylinder, hydraulic station, and control system. It can be configured with a separate control cabinet and hydraulic station or integrated with other system equipment for coordinated control.

Product Features:​

1. The Self-Cleaning Horizontal Screen intercepts suspended and floating solids entering the storage tank, preventing clogging of the screen. After the buffer tank water level drops, the intercepted solids are carried by the flow into the downstream pipeline or channel.
2. Installed horizontally, the screen is fixed within a frame and consists of specially shaped bars that minimize head loss. During overflow, wastewater flows horizontally through the screen, where floating and solid particles are trapped. To prevent clogging, when a sensor detects that the water level exceeds a set height, the hydraulic cylinder activates, driving the rake teeth to move laterally and clear the retained solids toward the wastewater side.
3. The hydraulic cylinder has a protection rating of at least IP68.
4. The guide blocks are made of polymer material with self-lubricating properties, which eliminates metal-to-metal contact, reduces the friction coefficient, and ensures smooth and reliable movement of the rake teeth.
5. Except for the polymer guide blocks, all components are made of stainless steel and undergo acid washing and passivation treatment. This provides strong corrosion resistance and long service life in rainwater, domestic sewage, and most industrial wastewater environments.
6. To prevent jamming during operation and potential damage to the screen bars from forced cylinder movement, a pressure protection device is installed in the hydraulic circuit.
7. The system is highly automated, delivers effective solid-liquid separation, and ensures continuous and stable operation with minimal maintenance, even under unattended conditions.
